The TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate will provide the curriculum needed for those who wish to specialize in teaching English language learners in the K-12 setting and also fulfill the education requirements for the ESOL endorsement. TESOL qualifications support learners whose first language isn’t English, helping them gain the communication skills needed to progress in the workplace, education and beyond.

The teaching profession provides opportunities for having long-term impact on learners’ lives. Students in this program will have opportunities to construct new professional knowledge and will be encouraged to reflect on pedagogy and their philosophy about teaching.
