SCE 4936 - Senior Seminar: Science Ed (3 Credits )
Capstone course taken concurrently with the final internship. Trends and issues within the field of secondary education are examined from the perspective of the final internship experience.

SCE 6366 - Science Methods: 6-12 (3 Credits )

SCE 6455 - Trends in Science Instruction (3 Credits )
Explores current research, theory, and practices in science education across grade levels. Emphasizes national and state instructional trends including inquiry-based learning, integration of technology, and authentic assessment. Candidates investigate a topic of interest in science instruction and present their findings using digital tools appropriate for professional communication.
