MUN 1120 - Symphonic Band (1 Credits )
This course involves the study, rehearsal and performance of varied literature from the wind band repertory. This ensemble endeavors to further develop the playing and listening skills of the members, both individually and as an ensemble. Students will also develop aesthetic value judgments through the literature selected for rehearsal and performance. This course includes selections from the Western canon.

MUN 1310 - University Choir (1 Credits )
This course provides specialized study performance opportunities for students. Students will rehearse and perform a wide array of choral literature and develop their vocal instruments and their musicianship. In doing so, students will develop their ability to analyze and describe music for life-long appreciation of the art. This course includes selections from the Western canon.

MUN 1320 - Bel Canto Choir (0-1 Credits )
The study and performance of representative choral works for treble voices. Open to all soprano and alto singers enrolled in the university. May
be repeated to a maximum of four semester hours.
MUN 1330 - Cantabile Choir (0-1 Credits )
The study and performance of representative choral works for bass clef voices. Open to all tenor and bass singers enrolled in the university.
MUN 2210 - Symphony Orchestra (1 Credits )
In this course, students will study and perform works from the orchestral repertoire, including a broad spectrum of symphonic literature for string orchestra and symphony orchestra. Participation will foster each student’s musicianship in an ensemble situation and enhance their understanding of the style, tone quality, intonation, articulation, blend, and balance relevant to each work. This course includes selections from the Western canon.

Performance group for wind and percussion instrumentalists at the upper division credit level. Open to qualified junior and senior university students; interested students should contact the conductor to audition prior to the beginning of the term. Course may be repeated. Prerequisite: Two semesters of MUN 1120 with a C or better.

Study and performance of music for piano duets (1 piano, 4 hands) and music for two pianos. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: Previous piano performance experience and permission of the instructor.
MUN 3463 - Instrumental Chamber Music (0-1 Credits )
The study and performance of literature for small groups of string, wind, percussion, voice and keyboard instruments.
MUN 4143 - Wind Orchestra (0-1 Credits )
Performance group for experienced wind and percussion players. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: Previous instrumental performance experience and audition with the instructor.
MUN 4213 - Symphony Orchestra (0-1 Credits )
Performance group for upper level orchestral instrumentalists open to all junior and senior qualified University students through audition. Interested students should contact the conductor prior to the beginning of the term. Previous instrumental experience required.
