MGF 1130 - Thinking Mathematically (3 Credits )
In this course, students will utilize multiple means of problem solving through student-centered mathematical exploration. The course is designed to teach students to think more effectively and vastly increase their problem-solving ability through practical application and divergent thinking. This course is appropriate for students in a wide range of disciplines/programs.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 1033 or MAT 1100 or (SAT Math Score with a score of 490 or MATH SECTION SCORE with a score of 520) or ACT Math with a score of 21 or (Accuplacer Algebra Subscore with a score of 090 or Mobius Alg&Pre-Calc Readi Test with a score of 15) or PERT Mathematics with a score of 123 or ALEKS Math with a score of 46 or Quantitative Reasoning with a score of 19
