IDS 3116  -  The Yogic Life  (3 Credits )  
Yoga is an ancient system of mind/body/breath awareness that offers the practitioner access to an expansive internal landscape and an understanding of self that is inaccessible or elusive to many. This course will explore the history of yoga through the wisdom of the yogic sages as students work to develop an understanding of what it means to live the yogic life.
IDS 3117  -  Yoga Theory & Practice  (3 Credits )  
This course is designed to introduce students to some of the theory that shapes the yoga tradition while encouraging students to begin to develop their own yoga practice both on and off the mat, ideally focusing on how the principles of yoga can shape healthy relationships both with the self and with the world outside of the self.
IDS 3138  -  Cannabis and Its Impact  (3 Credits )  
This multidisciplinary course is designed to help students understand the diverse foundations of cannabis and to provide them with skills to evaluate current research and data about the drug.

This interdisciplinary course investigates issues related to food production and consumption. Topics include agricultural practices and policies; environmental, ethical, and economic impacts of food systems; nutritional illnesses; use of technology in food production; alternative food lifestyles; and solutions toward sustainability and resiliency in agriculture.

This integrated/interdisciplinary course uses diverse strategies to deepen the inner voice and guide one towards an exploration of the self through contemplative practices and reflective journaling. This course brings students face-to-face with diverse ideas, controversies, and opportunities in this age of television. Students are invited to examine the evolution of television as a medium and art form, the diversity of issues that are given expression through the medium, and the ability to create new and diverse programming. Students are encouraged to think critically about the nature of programming and identify ways to improve the current television landscape.
