HMG 6916  -  Directed Individual Study  (3 Credits )  
This course is designed for individuals interested in various aspects of planning, development, marketing, management in hospitality or tourism organization. In this course students analyze a specific operational issue under supervision of a faculty mentor. In doing so, this course is designed to discuss specific management problems within the hospitality and tourism industries.
Prerequisite(s): ACG 6075 and ECP 6705 and FIN 6406 and GEB 6895 and HMG 6932 and MAN 6266 and MAR 6805 and QMB 6303 and TRA 6726  
HMG 6919  -  Hospitality Industry Analytics  (3 Credits )  
This course covers both quantitative and qualitative applied research methods necessary to analyze trends, forecast and manage financial outcomes, and to solve problems within the context of hospitality and tourism organizations.
Prerequisite(s): QMB 6303 and HMG 6932  
HMG 6932  -  Contemporary Issues  (3 Credits )  
This course examines issues, theories, trends, and impacts relevant to national and international hospitality and tourism organizations.
HMG 6960  -  Hospitality Mgmt Capstone  (3 Credits )  
In this capstone course students integrate their knowledge with concepts and skills learned from their MBA coursework. Students shall participate in an innovative class project that addresses the micro and macro variables of an industry problem, gap, or challenge. Students shall conduct applied management research, access and gather plan-specific information, and construct both hospitality-standardized written and presentation versions of the class project.
