EXP 3640 - Psychology of Language (3 Credits )
The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the scientific study of psycholinguistic phenomena. It will cover a broad range of topics from psycholinguistics, including the origin of language, processes involved in reading, computational modeling, the acquisition of language, and the brain bases of language.
EXP 4404 - Psychology of Learning (3 Credits )
Survey of methods, empirical findings and theoretical interpretations in respondent and instrumental conditioning.
EXP 4604 - Human Memory and Cognition (3 Credits )
Survey of methods, empirical findings and theoretical interpretations of human learning, attention, memory, verbal learning, judgment, and decision making.
EXP 4605 - Mind, Brain and A.I. (3 Credits )
To introduce students to the disciplines involved in the study and development of artificial intelligence. A survey of the relationship between psychology, philosophy, computer sciences, and biology as it relates to human-machine interaction.
