This course focuses on the skill of creativity and broadening one's curiosity, skills that can be applied in any life context. Students learn opportunity recognition and gain confidence in exploring unfamiliar courses of action.

This course examines a wide range of individual differences that are associated with an entrepreneurial mindset. Topics such as passion, confidence, and professionalism are discussed in the context of career development beyond starting a new venture.

ENT 3243  -  Promoting New Ventures  (3 Credits )  
Providing a unique context through which parts of the entrepreneurial process can be understood and practiced. Skills such as improvisation, storytelling, and organization help students communicate a vision and attract resources when making a pitch for seed funding.

ENT 3273  -  Foundational Startup Skills  (3 Credits )  
New ventures require founders to create organizational structure around administrative and record keeping tasks. This course will teach students how to correctly establish a new venture and leverage data to make more informed decisions.

This course explores the foundations of cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and Blockchain technology, with a focus on entrepreneurial opportunities in web3.

Entrepreneurs need data to navigate through uncertain, ambiguous, and interdisciplinary environments. In this course, students will learn to improve their decision making skills through gathering, interpreting, and manipulating data.

ENT 3422  -  Venture Funding  (3 Credits )  
This course concentrates on developing knowledge of capital management in early-stage ventures, with a focus on financial capital: both equity and debt. Investor motives and behaviors are critical components of the course, especially as they relate to establishing contractual relationships.

ENT 3603  -  Visual Software Development  (3 Credits )  
Building software visually, with no coding experience, opens a world of opportunity for entrepreneurs. The course topics include how to use low-code tools to develop mobile and desktop applications. Software for automating common organizational routines will also be explored.

The primary focus of this course is to develop students' technology skills. It is accessible for everyone, yet offers skillful students many opportunities for further growth. This course also broadly examines the role of digital technologies in society.

ENT 4205  -  Founder's Dilemmas  (3 Credits )  
This course delves into the consequential early choices entrepreneurs make that shape their ventures' trajectories. Students develop practical frameworks for navigating these dilemmas while balancing personal aspirations with venture requirements, enabling them to make more informed choices in their entrepreneurial journeys.

ENT 4305  -  Legal Strategies in Startups  (3 Credits )  
The legal environment for entrepreneurs is covered in significant detail. Some of the topics include protecting intellectual property, contract development, and handling disputes. This course also examines issues beyond the legal system that could be better analyzed with an ethical framework.

ENT 6248  -  Opportunity and Lean Launch  (3 Credits )  
An exploration of how to create a new venture examining the fundamental ideas related to opportunity in entrepreneurship. Lean launch methodologies are stressed as a way to recognize and evaluate opportunities for future exploitation in a viable business model.
ENT 6415  -  New Venture Capital  (3 Credits )  
In-depth coverage of how to finance and fund a startup business. The course centers on a model that includes business model creation, financial analysis. cash management, funding alternatives, investor pitching, alternative financing, and exit strategies. We examine the various options that a company has for financing at all stages of its life-cycle, including seed rounds. The course addresses the full range of financing options including angel, venture capital & debt financing.
ENT 6441  -  New Venture Launch  (3 Credits )  
A hands-on experience in entrepreneurship that will cover the process of completing the first steps towards creating a business and establishing legitimacy with stakeholders. The course focuses on translating insights of a validated venture idea into a viable business model with established value propositions.
ENT 6455  -  Venture Metrics and Growth  (3 Credits )  
An in depth examination of start-up monitoring and control that ranges from the basics of accounting and bookkeeping to advanced metrics specific to a optimizing a new venture. This class focuses on the importance of utilizing data and metrics to move a startup to the revenue and growth stages of development.
ENT 6606  -  MVP Design and Development  (3 Credits )  
A practical training on developing high-fidelity minimum viable products and/or services. Students will be exposed to the important aspects of product, service, and software design and how they impact business model success.
ENT 6628  -  Mindset and Differentiation  (3 Credits )  
Covers the core skills needed for identifying opportunities that can lead to successful new ventures regardless of the individual's skill set. The course takes an in depth look at the critical importance of differentiation in successful new ventures and how individuals utilizing an entrepreneurial mindset can leverage their individual human capital and resources to identify, evaluate, and exploit opportunities.
ENT 6902  -  Runway Program Seminar  (1-3 Credits )  
This self-directed course requires students to create a launch plan for a new product or service idea. Small group instruction and mentorship is provided, however, students are expected to demonstrate disciplined progress towards their goals.
ENT 6903  -  Independent Study  (1-3 Credits )  
Independent study in which students must have a contract with an instructor. Students and faculty will work together to outline the goal of the independent study with the student's specific outcomes and learning objectives in mind.
