This course is an examination of terrorism, public policy, law, disaster response/preparedness, critical incident management, the role of FEMA as it coordinates efforts with local/state governments and the role that forensics plays in the detection, prevention and identification of such incidents.

This course will provide students with a broad understanding of the subject of terrorism.
DSC 3260  -  Security & Law in US Airports  (3 Credits )  
Law enforcement and security in the context of domestic and international air transportation and commerce. Addresses laws, regulations, terrorism, justice management, homeland security, and other current issues in airport security.

This course is an examination of information gathering techniques and systems utilized by criminal justice practitioners to track, study trends and connect organized criminal activity, whether or not it is reported to law enforcement, to assist investigative personnel in linking people, events, and property.
DSC 3780  -  Forensic Inv Mass Fatalities  (3 Credits )  
This course presents national and international mass fatalities events within the structure of preparedness and response in the government and private sectors.

This course examines the skill sets of critical thinking and intelligence analysis requisite to homeland security, critical incident management, disaster preparedness, and disaster recovery.
