COE 2947 - Exploratory Internship (1-3 Credits )
Designed to combine classroom learning with practical application through career-related tasks and experiences. Students are actively engaged within a specific area of interest and a variety of organizations and agencies working with a focus which relates to their academic training and career objectives.

COE 3948 - Professional Internship (1-9 Credits )
Experience in the major field to develop knowledge and skills in the practical application of theory to actual problems in a non-classroom situation. Developing critical thinking skills, identifying problems, and analysis for solutions will be an integral part of this course.

COE 4949 - Co-Operative Internship (1-9 Credits )
Designed to combine classroom theory with practical application through job-related experiences. Students must work on-site more than 25 hours per week and be paid a competitive wage during the co-operative. Students should be working with a focus which relates to their academic training and career objectives in their professional development, career planning and specific networking connections within their field of study.
