An introduction to the theoretical approaches to psychotherapy and their practical applications in clinical settings. Students will examine the effects of different therapist roles and learn key concepts, applications, and techniques from most traditional therapeutic approaches in psychotherapy. Students will also become familiar with historical, current, and cultural issues in the psychotherapy profession.
CLP 4314 - Health Psychology (3 Credits )
Review of application of clinical psychology in behavioral medicine context. Emphasis on rehabilitation and prevention.

This course will offer students the opportunity to work in a community mental health practice. Students will observe psychological interviews, psychological and neuropsychological assessments as well as engage in didactic training and case conceptualization.
